Meet the Atkins Family
Prior to moving to the Cleveland area, Charles and his family resided in Florida, where Charles served as Director of Florida Disaster Relief, Tampa. While serving Florida, Charles performed many different facets of disaster relief. Under his direction the Wimauma Convention Center served as a storm shelter during 3 of the 2004 hurricanes.
The Convention Center also served as the hub for dry goods and relief items. Goods were received and distributed from the center.
During 2005 hurricane season, Charles spent many months in the Gulf coast working at many relief sites. Charles then returned to Florida to assist with the rebuild of churches that had been damaged by hurricanes. He worked as a liaison between the insurance company, contractors, pastors and the churches.
Charles’ wife of 12 years, Sharon is a stay at home Mom and housewife. She home schools Harrison so it is possible for the entire family to do disaster relief. Charles and Sharon have two children, Harrison 8 and Breleigh Elizabeth, 3 yrs old. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you.
